Heftruckdriver

Functieomschrijving

Forget the typical warehouse where you're moving small pallets from one shelf to another all day. At LF Group, everything is a little bigger.

You'll be handling large decorative panels, construction materials and other oversized products that require careful handling. Some materials are long, wide or particularly fragile, which means there's little room for mistakes. You'll unload trucks arriving from different European countries, check incoming deliveries and transport products to the correct storage locations. Using specialised equipment such as side loaders and multi-directional forklifts, you'll manoeuvre large materials safely through the warehouse. And when orders are ready to leave? You'll help prepare the outgoing shipments, making sure everything is correctly picked, checked and loaded. The company operates with a tight delivery schedule. Orders received before noon are generally shipped the following day. That means efficiency matters. But never at the expense of safety or quality.

Functie-eisen

You don't need someone standing next to you explaining how a forklift works. You've already got experience, and you know how to handle equipment safely. You're comfortable working with heavy loads and understand that a few centimetres can make all the difference when manoeuvring oversized materials. You work carefully, take responsibility for your equipment and stay focused, even when the warehouse gets busy.

What you bring

• Proven experience as a forklift driver.

• Experience with side loaders, 4-way forklifts or multi-directional forklifts is strongly preferred.

• Confidence in handling large, heavy or damage-sensitive materials.

• Good spatial awareness and precise manoeuvring skills.

• A safety-first attitude and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills in English.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with timber, panels, construction materials or other oversized products would be a great advantage.
